My Fitbit Flex worked for a little over a month. Then it stopped working, showing dots like this: ** **. A couple of weeks later, it flashed a few times and started working again. The next time I had to charge it (about 7 days after it started working again), it went blank and now no amount of tapping will bring it back to life. By now I'm out of the 45-day refund policy, so I wish I'd jumped when it first stopped working.
The software is ok but what they don't tell you is that in order to run it, you have to buy a maintenance agreement at the end of the year, which costs more than the original software - and then every other year after! When you call with questions, as part of the maintenance agreement, you are sometimes put on hold for hours.
