I've used Rid-X for years. I usually get the smaller box and will probably go back to that size..(Storage is at a premium in my bathroom) I tried the Rid-X that clips onto the toilet bowl and did not like it at all - the smell was terrible. It made it so that you did not want to lift the toilet bowl lid to use the toilet.
My 2 year old has a friend who has one and fell in love with this toy. He is barely 2 so he sometimes struggles cocking the gun, but he's getting there. Plus I don't mind helping. My 5 year old daughter plays with it too and loves it so all in all for the price it's great. I will say however it does sting a little when getting hit by the dart at close range. My son has resorted to using my butt as target practice. So for younger kids I would definitely keep a close eye that they don't hit smaller children with this too close.
