A helpful intro to QB that is easy to use as a reference, or to read straight through as an introduction. Note, though, if you're on a Mac: The Mac version of QB2012 is a crippled, feature-less step-child of the PC version. Most of the accounting world, including the author, run PCs. You'll read instruction to do something that simply doesn't exist on the Mac product. For the features where there's parity, there's little variance, but there are a number of features (ie, tracking depreciation of capital expenses, like a truck, building, or piece of equipment) that the Mac version simply doesn't do. Too bad for you, should have bought a PC.
This stuff is pure magic! I recommend it on any finished wood surfaces in your house, furniture included! I worked all summer getting a house ready to be sold. The closet doors and trim throughout the house were scratched from normal wear and tear. A quick application of this stuff and the scratches were completely gone! The wood looked vibrant and brand new. I will not buy used furniture (kitchen tables, chairs, end tables, etc) without rubbing this into them first. It doesn't fill in the actual scratches in the wood or in the finish, it just evens out the color. All you do is rub it in with a soft cloth, no clean up is required! An impressive fathers day gift, hint hint.
I would like to start this off by saying I first bought this at CVS not seeing reviews or anything, so i got online as soon as I could to read on this stuff because it seemed (and smelled) awesome. WOW there were so may horrible reviews I was almost ready to just take it back with out trying ( that would have been a huge mistake). I also saw GREAT reviews. I went with the positive reviews and gave it a try.
This shawl is beautiful! My daughter, my mom, and I take turns using it for Shabbat (praying on the Sabbath.)
Just the introduction about Isaac Bashevis Singer is worth the price of the book. One way or another I enjoyed all twenty stories, but my least favorites were McSweeney's futuristic experimental stories, which both started off promising but went on too long and fell flat at certain crucial points.
