Thank you so much to those that have made it possible for me to have my very own Sitar. I have named him Singh, and Singh he does! It is only one day since I got him and already I am doing fantastic with my sitar. It is so beautiful. I was worried at first to order it since it is primarily made of wood and bone, I did not want any harm of course to any being/person, etc., so I called and spoke to a representative before I ordered one and inquired and she said the camel bone is from quite some time ago, and the type of sitar it is I know the wood has been aged 15 years, so it is from some time ago. I will cherish my sitar. When I played the first notes on it, I looked out my window and saw squirrels poking their heads up at the sound and looking on in amazement and wonder at my beautiful sitar. I am pretty certain it was the first time they had ever seen or heard one. Butterflies dance to it. Next, two bright blue birds were flying/dancing to the music, gorgeous blue jays. My spouse, when he heard it, said it has made him want to play his acoustic guitar more. He also dances a bit to it, Mumbai style. Thank you again to those that enabled me to get it. It is very special to me. I had wanted one since I was around 4 years old so this is very important to me and has made me smile inside and out. I look forward to getting a bow and bowing it also. I hear so many instruments in it. It has the most wonderful sitar sound with special happy chimes in it. So many beautiful sounds, they are infinite in both number and melody. It also can sound like an upright bass played pizzicato (plucking with fingers.) It has that European classical music sound also. There are acoustic guitar sounds in it, even drums, when its brass frets are gently tapped with my left hand (I am best able to play mine with it sitting on my lap across my legs. It is not the way I have seen it done before, but it works for me.)
The book was in great condition and was packaged safely and securely. It arrived in a better condition than I had expected, which was a nice surprise. The package took a while to arrive, but that is alright seeing as how it had to travel half way across the country.
I definitely have more energy and it lasts all day. Not over the top, crazy stuff, or jitters.....just felt awake and good. Didn't yawn once at work today and that says a lot. Also, after a month of taking this, I was able to donate blood. Usually I can't because I have low iron levels. I don't know if Thrive had anything to do with it, but I do feel better.
